Hi, I am Ivy Sky
I am a photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I started my photography journey in modeling, and soon realized I enjoyed life behind the camera instead. I specialize in Lifestyle Portraits, but really enjoy capturing any special moment. My main goal is freezing the moment, and giving my clients something thats timeless and last a lifetime. Every session is built on positivity and is an outlet to express yourself.
Experience
My journey began with my good friend Josh who had started his own successful photography business, JawFox Photography. Not only did he sell me my very first camera, he also allowed me to join him on some of his major projects; such as weddings, music videos, studio projects and much more.
When I moved from Richmond,Va to Charlotte, Nc I wanted to continue my photography journey, so I took a shot at seasonal Yearbook and Sports photography and I absolutely loved it. I did yearbook, sports, and daycare/preschool photography.
After this I joined a private studio where we created newborn, maternity and family portraits. As you can see photography is not only my passion, but a learning outlet as well. I treat every project as a chance to grow, and showcase something that will last a lifetime. Every session is treated as a unique experience to just let go and be ourselves.
